Continuum of Caring

As we approach the end of the year, it's an excellent time for gratitude and celebration of successes, both big and small. At Crossroads Continuum, we are proud of the progress we've made together on our mission to enhance the quality of life for individuals with autism and related disorders. We believe that every achievement, every milestone, and every triumph is a step towards fulfilling that vision.

This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to be part of something special – the "Continuum of Caring". We want to hear your experiences, your challenges, and your victories, no matter how small they may seem. By sharing your stories, you can shed light on the incredible work happening within our Crossroads Continuum programs.

In addition to sharing your personal stories, we also encourage you to highlight a staff member's success or their hard work.

Share your story in your own words and we'll love to see photos too! We'll then highlight your stories in our newsletters and on social media.

Send your story and any accompanying photos to:

“Staying in Crossroads Continuum's programs, Joe will continue to learn, work, and be surrounded by individuals who want to be there, who support him, and treat him with the compassion, dignity and respect he deserves throughout his adult life.”

— Leslie, Joe’s mom

GIVING TUESDAY OVER THE YEARS

On Tuesday, November 29, individuals and communities around the world will come together for one common purpose—to celebrate generosity and to give. Since our first #GivingTuesday in 2015, our community’s generosity has:

  • Put SMARTBoards in every classroom at Crossroads School

  • Built a playground

  • Installed the Prozinski Family Sport Court

  • Gave all our staff laptops just before COVID-19 required us all to shift to remote work

  • Provided technology to families for telehealth and remote-learning

  • Gave us the space to return to full-time, in-person instruction during COVID-19

Your support has helped people with autism master educational and vocational objectives, achieve therapeutic goals, given families access to services, and kept us all moving forward.

Crossroads Continuum’s
Strategic Plan

We were fortunate to receive a Capacity Building Grant from the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation to work with Civitas Strategies on the development of our Strategic Plan.

Crossroads Continuum recognized the needs of the autism community and launched a Strategic Plan with three high-impact goals to support more people like Joe and Leslie.

  • Become a multi-service, community-based agency that provides supports and services for children, youth, and adults with autism.

  • Retain and develop the staff needed to provide high-quality, effective services for children, youth, and adults.

  • Ensure the sustainability of the organization.

This #GivingTuesday, you’re invited to join us in fundraising to support these goals.
